Zudem ist er  Mitglied der internationalen Steuerungsgruppe unserer Sektorgruppe Finanzdienstleistungen.\nInhalt des Workshops:\n·  AI infrastructure is driving massive investment: Demand for GPUs and data centers is surging, with forecasts of up to USD 2.9 trillion in AI infrastructure investment by 2028.\n·  SPVs enable off-balance-sheet financing: Companies use special purpose vehicles (SPVs) to own and finance data centers and GPUs, allowing AI firms to access infrastructure without adding significant debt to their balance sheets.\n·  GPUs are becoming a financing asset class: Instead of just being computing hardware, GPUs are increasingly leased, pledged as collateral, or included in securitizations to raise capital.\n·  Tokenization is an emerging financing model: GPUs can be tokenized and used as collateral in blockchain-based lending, but legal recognition remains limited in the EU, creating regulatory uncertainty.\n·  Key legal considerations: GPU financing depends on ownership, insolvency, and regulatory rules in the relevant jurisdictions. In Germany, issues include title to GPUs, insolvency protection, financial leasing regulation, and compliance with EU securitization and securities laws.\n
